Puttur: The police have finally arrested a person accused in illicit liquor transportation case, who gave them a slip over the last 13 years.

Chandrappa is the accused, who was nabbed by the police and produced before the court.

It is said that Umesh and his aide Chandrappa from Aryapu, who were nabbed in the said case in 2003 were soon released on bond. While Umesh was absolved of all charges, Chandrappa managed to give the police and the court a slip. The court had issue warrant but that yielded no results.
