Malpe police arrest three fraudsters

Udupi :Malpe police arrested three fraudsters,who cheated people by collecting funds in the form of donations to a non-existent educational institute of Madhwaraj Trust on Wednesday June 4.

Madhwaraj Trust  which belongs to Udupi MLA, Pramod Madhwaraj takes up social issues. The accused are identified as Pradeep Kumar of Haradi in Brahmavar, Yogish from Kolambe Brahmavar, and Subramanya from Chantaru in Brahmavar.

Pradeep collected the funds in the form of cheques and encashed them  in the Vijaya bank in Tallur through a fake account created in the name of Tallur Vadiraja Institute. He used to pay commission to Yogeesh and Subramanya. They used fake documents for convincing people to donate money.

A case has been registered in Malpe police station.
