Karkala: The post-mortem reports of Malini Poojary a five months pregnant who died under suspicious circumstances have confirmed that she was poisoned before her death.

Malini Poojary,wife of Ashok Jain had a quarrel with Jyothi Hegde,a divorcee from the neighbourhood for having soft conversations with her husband. Instead of supporting his wife Ashok took Jyothi’s side which displeased Malini.

Police sources say that distressed with her husband’s behaviour Malini might have killed herself by consuming poison.

Police officials are also interrogating Jyothi for ruining the marital life of Ashok and Malini.

Malini Poojari died under suspicious circumstances here on Thursday February 20.
