Mangalore: The finals of ‘Best Business Team 2014’ contest was held here at SPEEDEX mentorship solutions office premises on July 5.

In the contest, 18 teams participated from the several colleges across the city. The title was won by Sharanya Bhat B, Deeya David and Sharvani P M from the Mahesh college.

Both, first and second runner up prizes were won by St Aloysius college students.

Arpitha Babu, Asma Khan and Carissa Rodrigues from St Aloiysius college won first runner up prize whereas Winston Pinto, Velron Goveas and Vipul Monteiro, won the second runner up title.

The contest was organised by the Speedex mentorship solutions in association with News Karnataka. Each team was given 20 minutes to present their business plans in a “Board room scenario” which included an interrogative round by the judges.

The prize comprises of trophy, certificate, cash voucher and free mentorship for one year.
