Kasargod :A lorry which was carrying chickens overturned near Yedrutod in Nellikatte and the cleaner died on the spot here on August 8.

The deceased has been identified as Suresh(19), son of Krishna Naik resident of Kuntaru.

Lorry driver Gopala and Shanker who were injured in the incident are admitted to the Chengala government hospital.

The lorry was heading towards Kasargod from Badiyadka. When it reached Yedrutod, driver lost control while giving way to another vehicle and overturned.

Suresh was injured seriously and was rushed to hospital. But could not saved.

Locals and police admitted other injured persons in the hospital.

Vidyanagara police have registered a case in this regard.

Body has been sent for postmortem at Kasargod General hospital. Family members have reached the hospital.
