Belthangady: A lone tusker, first spotted in Navoor on Friday evening, covered approximately 15 km, making its way to the Charmadi-Kanapadi forest route by Saturday evening in Beltangady. The tusker roamed through residential areas like Indabettu, Maindadka, Ballalabettu, Hedya, and Kanarpa, crossing the road at Kadirudyavara before heading towards the forest. During its journey, the tusker caused damage to the coconut and plantain farm owned by Lizo Scaria in Kadirudyavara village.
