Mangaluru: J.R. Lobo, MLA of Mangaluru City South, performed Guddali pooja for various developmental works like construction of footpaths(360m), a bridge in Kadri Kambla main road and drainage works here on Friday.
Speaking to reporters Lobo said, that the work will be undertaken using 2.30 crores out of CMs special fund of 100 crores. The tender process is finalized and work will begin at the earliest and will be finished within three months.

Construction of 360m long footpaths and drainage works, construction of 10 calvert and dacts, a concrete road, mini bridge and retaining wall will come under this project.

Inspite of these works, good quality footpaths in all the roads will be built using premium FIR money, he added.

Local corporator Prakash Salian, opposition party leader Sudheer Shetty, former mayor Shashidhar Hegde, corporator Lancelot Pinto, Rajaneesh and Latheef were present.
