Let your child reveal his artistic side at the State Level Chiguru-2015 Camp

Mangaluru: The Chakrapani School of Arts will be organizing a ‘State Level Chiguru-2015 Art and Craft Summer Camp’ from April 20 to April 24 at Sarojini Madhusudan Kushe School, Attavar.

It is for the first time in Karnataka that there has been a State level competition that will encourage massive participation from around the state. The camp is designed for children from LKG to 10th Standard.

Speaking to NewsKarnataka.com, Suresh Pandavarakallu of Shree Chakrapani School of Art said, “In the endeavor to promote and uplift young artists, the institute has been conducting various Art Camps and Art Competitions since 2004 every year. “

“This continuous effort has successfully explored and introduced new talents and artists to the world of fine arts. Through Chiguru, Chakrapani School of Arts has identified and honored 300 individuals with the ‘Chiguru’ award, until now.”

The aim  is to promote art and craft in the younger generation, he concluded.

About State Level Chiguru-2015 Art and Craft Summer Camp

The State Level Chiguru-2015 Art and Craft Summer Camp will be conducted from April 20 to April 24 in 10 districts around the State.

The identified centers are at Mandya, Bengaluru, Chitradurga, Koppal, Belgaum, Shimoga, Gulbarga, Davangere, Bagalkot and Bantwal. On an average around 50 participants are scheduled to join the camp in every district respectively.

The Camp has been divided in three sections Junior, Sub-Junior and Senior; altogether it is going to be a fun-filled event for the children.
