Kasargod: A person was arrested with a large amount of marijuana at Vidyanagar.

Muhammad Ali, 60, was arrested by the Vidyanagar police and seized 1.250 kg of marijuana and a bike.

Safwan and two others who were with Ali, managed to flee.

Police on having confirmed information caught the accused red-handed with the other three, packing the marijuana packets at a building opposite the water authority office in Vidyanagar.

Sources said that the accused were trying to target students and youth.
