Mangaluru: Thieves broke a parked car window near the MUDA (Mangalore Urban Development Authority) headquarters at Urwa Store and stole a laptop, iPhone, and several bank check leaves on Friday August 7.

Abhishek, who is an executive in one of the companies in Mangaluru, parked his car in front of the MUDA office and went to a hotel for lunch, leaving his belongings in the vehicle.

The thieves broke the window panel, stole the items, and fled the scene.

When he returned, he discovered that the backpack, laptop, and iPhone he had left in the car had been taken. The stolen products are estimated to be worth Rs. 1 lakh.

A case has been registered in Urwa Police station.
