Mangaluru: Just a day after Mullarapatna-Phalguni bridge collapsed owing to the heavy rainfall that has been lashing across the Dakshina Kannada district a major landslide has been reported from near Mithakodi here.

Traffic in the Mudipu-BC Road route has been disrupted owing to the landslide. Luckily in both the instances, no casualties have been reported.

Locals have joined hands with the police authorities in clearing the debris. from the road here.
