Mangaluru: Gayathri N Nayak, Special Assistant Commissioner and Land Acquisition Officer was caught re-handed by the Anti-corruption Bureau here on January 4 while she was accepting bribe.
The officer had demanded Rs 20,000 as bribe to release a cheque of Rs 16 Lakh as land compensation to complainant Yogish.
