Moodbidri: A labourer from Bagalkot has been found dead near a quarry at Gujjaragundi in Beluvai on Monday.

Shiva (30) is identified as the deceased.

The body was found in a shed where the victim and other labourers were staying. Minor injuries were found on his body.

Moodbidri police who arrived at the spot immediately have taken in the other labourers for questioning.

Police are suspecting that he might have been murdered. The reason for the death will be known only after investigation.
