Kasargod : Two drug peddlers who were transporting ganja in a concealed compartment under the seat of their jeep, have been arrested by the Kumble police on October 22, Tuesday. Nearly 2.5 kg ganja has been seized from them. The arrests were made near the NH bridge at Kumble
The arrested are George (43) from Idukki and V V Santhosh (31). The police had intercepted the vehicle on suspicion and the ganja was found when the vehicle was thoroughly examined.
The interrogations of the accused revealed that they used to supply ganja to several places including Uppala, Pachambala and Bandyodu.
