Mangaluru: The Karnataka State Co-operative Apex Bank has donated 1 lakh masks to the staff of the Health Department on Tuesday May 18.

In a simple ceremony, the masks were handed over to the concerned authorities.

Speaking to News Karnataka, CEO of Karnataka State Cooperative Apex Bank Devaraj C. N. said that 1 lakh masks which are worth Rs 35 Lakh was donated to the department.

Contribution to CM’s Relief Fund

The bank has also donated Rs 5 crore to CM’s Relief fund in the state and 1 lakh masks to the government.

Further, CEO of Karnataka State Coorperative Apex Bank, Devaraj C. N. added that the cheque has been handed over to the CM B.S. Yediyurappa. “Last year also we have donated 5 crores to the relief fund during the first wave of the pandemic,” he added.
