Mangalore : Former minister Kota Srinivas Poojari inaugurated the Koti-Chennaya Circle at Nandigudde in Mangalore on May 19, Sunday. The Circle has been constructed under the aegis of the Narayana Guru Yuva Vedike.

In his address, the former minister said Koti and Chennaya, the Tulunad folk heroes were an exemplary example of valour  and added the younger generation has to derive inspiration from them.

The contributions of the Narayana Guru Yuva Vedike were hailed by Ramesh Kumar, Managing Director of Janatha Constructions, who was present as a chief guest.

Chittaranjan, President of Garodi Temple, Shashidhar Hegde, Corporator and former mayor also spoke on the occasion.

The Engineer of the project Santosh Kumar was warmly felicitated at the function. Shivaraj, President of the Narayana Guru Yuva Vedike, Suresh Babu, Meera Ashok Vasudeva Kottary and others were present.
