Mangaluru: The rock band dedicated to Konkani music, ‘The Teetotalers’ will be organizing a Konkani rock music concert, ‘Konkani Rocks 3’ on January 29 at St. Agnes Special School Grounds in the city.

The Teetotalers are performing in a bid to raise funds and donate it to Mangaluru based non-profit organization ‘White Doves’. The concert is expected to reach Rs. 3 lakh in collection and the proceedings will be paid to White Doves to carry on their good work of rehabilitating underprivileged people.
Titus Noronha, the Public Relations Officer of the band spoke to members of the media and said, “Members of the Teetotalers are friends from various backgrounds and different professions who came together to realize their love for music. The band had performed it’s first Konkani rock concert in 2012 and the second show in 2016. Both the concerts were performed with motive of social service and we are driven by the same motive this year as well.”
Speaking about donating the collection amount, Titus said, “White Doves is now working on a special building which is being established for destitutes in Bikarnakatte area. The proceedings of this concert will be handed over to White Doves so that they can help the poor and needy.”
After informing the media about the concert, Titus also requested people to support their cause by being present at the venue. The band will start performing at 6.30 PM at St. Agnes Special School ground on Sunday, 29 January.
