Kasargod : A resident of Vidyanagar in the city died in a road mishap in Jubaila town of Saudi Arabia, according to information received by his relatives.

Arshad (32), a resident of Chalukunnu of Vidyanagar is the deceased.

The accident took place when Harshad’s mobile van crashed into a truck in Jubaila area of the kingdom.

Arshad employed at a mobile store in Dubai for five years, had been selling food items since two months. His vehicle carrying food items for sale rammed into a truck which resulted in the death of Arshad, it is gathered.

Arshad had married barely one and a half years ago.

Arrangements are being made to shift the deceased’s body lying in a hospital in Jubaila to his hometown to perform the last rites.
