Kanchana Honda aims at reaching out to rural areas with new showroom

Mangaluru: Following an increasing demand for two wheelers in rural areas, the Honda dealership run by Kanchana Motors inaugurated their showroom and service centre at Thokkottu to cater to the same.  With no other two wheeler showroom in the area, Kanchana Honda aims at fulfilling the demands of the rural population.

“We have 8,000 Honda two wheeler annual sales in all the showrooms across four showrooms and this year we are expecting more We also hope to help local people by providing employment to them by opening such showrooms in rural areas”, said Prasad Raj Kanchan, proprietor of Kanchana Honda, during the inauguration of the showroom.

This is the fourth Kanchana Honda showroom and service station after Sullia, Vittla and B C Road. Kanchana Honda has employed as many as 500 rural youth as of now in all aspects of maintaining the dealership.

According to Kanchan, every second two wheeler in India is a Honda and there has been an increasing demand for Honda scooters in the rural areas. “I hope to see more involvement from the rural people when it comes to affording a two wheeler”, he  added.
