Bantwal: The Crime branch police arrested four persons on December 21, in connection with the stabbing incident at Kalpane in Sanchekalli village limits.

Devadas (30),Prashanth (28), Satish (30) and Umesh (30) were nabbed by the police in connection to the incident. They were nabbed near Kodman Abbettu government school when they were trying to escape.

It may be recalled, teenagers Junaid(17) from Badrianagar in Mallur and Sinan (18) from Shanthiangadi were stabbed by the accused on Monday, December 19.When the duo reached Kalpane after attending a wedding at Kaikamba, four accused riding other bikes hurled abuses at the two and stabbed them before fleeing.

Bantwal police had registered a case and SP Bhushan Borase, Commissioner Chandrashekar too had visited the spot after the incident.

Team led by Deputy Superintendent of police succeeded in nabbing the four accused.
