Puttur: In the quest for justice for Soujanya, a victim of abuse and murder 11 years ago, a demand has been raised for the government to reexamine the case and ensure the release of the true perpetrator, alongside providing assistance to the families impacted. With a strong commitment to securing justice, a significant rally and street protest named “Towards Our Rights” is set to occur in Puttur on August 14th.
On Monday, August 14, at 9:30 am, a significant procession will set off from Darbe Vritha, heading toward the Puttur bus station, where a street protest and a major demonstration will unfold.
This decision was reached during a previous assembly held at Puttur Parish Hall on August 8. Supporters and former officials attending the gathering passed this resolution. During the preceding assembly, Arun Kumar Puttil, President of the Puttil Family, Prasanna Kumar Marta, Chairman of the Puttur Family, Anil Tenkila, City Chairman, Umesh Veeramangala, Chief Executive Officer, Sunil Borkar, Ravi Kumar Kedambadi Mutt were present.
