Mangaluru: Justice for all and appeasement of none is the system of BJP government, informed Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday, March 9.

He was addressing the gathering during ‘intellectuals’ meet’ organised by the district unit of BJP at TMA Pai Conventional Hall. Singh said, “the BJP would not hesitate to take strict action against anybody if they commit mistakes. In the BJP, there is no question of appeasing any particular community in order to get their votes.”

He also clarified that politics should not be done for the sake of securing power. “The BJP would do politics in order to build a strong nation, but our opposition party Congress has been doing politics in order to retain power at the centre. Efforts are on to form Mahaghatabandhan by bringing together various political parties only to prevent Modi from getting second term as PM. However, their efforts will not yield any fruit and Modi will become India’s prime minister again”, he said with utmost confidence.

Four years ago, there were only three mobile manufacturing units in India, but today over 120 mobile manufacturing units are functioning in our country. It is due to the “Make in India’ programme of our government. India is one of the fastest developing countries in the world and it has achieved all-round development in the last four and half years”, Rajnath added.

Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath welcomed the gathering and district BJP secretary Brijesh Chowta proposed the vote of thanks. BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa, MPs Shobha Karandlaje, Nalin Kumar Kateel, opposition leader in Legislative Council Kota Srinivas Poojary, Karkala MLA V Sunil Kumar, former MLC Monappa Bhandary among others were present.
