Bantwal :The JD(S) –SDPI alliance will not affect the prospects of the Congress in the upcoming elections. The huge backing of all secular minded people across the society will help in the party’s win, said M Ashwani Kumar Rai, KPCC Secretary.

Speaking to reporters at BC Road on Sunday April 13, he said  surveys and exit polls  which garner the opinion of only a few  cannot be  relied upon. The survey results did not prove right after the 2004 and 2009 elections, he pointed out.

Rai said the JD(S) supremo would bite the dust in Hassan and the Congress would emerge victorious there.

Mohammad Malavoor, Deviprasad Poonja, Karim Bollai, Jeevan Lloyd Pinto and others were present at the press meet.
