Mangaluru: The ICYM central council of Mangaluru diocese got its new president with Jackson D’Costa from Vamadapadavu church being elected during the 69th annual general body meeting held at Urwa church hall recently.
Mangaluru diocese Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu after presiding over the meeting and the election appreciated the youth for their collective work and service to the society.

President of Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy Roy Castelino called upon youth to make use of their talents to be successful.

Mangaluru’s Sonu Nigam Prajoth D’Sa, Parish priest of Urwa Fr Stany Pereira and former president Alwyn D’Souza, Agrar were present.  The oath taking ceremony was administered by the Diocesan director Fr Ronald D’Souza. Meanwhile, a few youth from the diocese were honoured with ICYM Youth Achiever awards and annual cup distribution was also held on the occasion.

Treasurer: Ashwin Sequiera, Borimar
Regional representatives: Fayal D’Souza, Puttur and Sheldon Crasta.
