Mangaluru: Veteran space scientist and former chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) K Kasturirangan will be inaugurating three-day spinal cord experts’ conference ‘ICS 2019’ scheduled at TMA Pai Convention Center on September 27.

Conference secretary Dr Janardhan Aithal told reporters here on Wednesday, September 25 that Kasturirangan will address the budding doctors about how to face various challenges and attain the goal during the conference. Over 250 delegates from various states will be attending the conference. There will be discussions on spinal cord infections, its effects, precautionary measures among others. Resource persons from Korea will also participate in the conference.

On the second day, ie on September 28, Kasturirangan will deliver a talk on ‘ challenges in space mission’ and is likely to shed light upon the achievement of our country in space research and its challenges.
