Kasargod: Badiyadka police on Monday nabbed an inter-state thief in connection with more than 13 theft cases including the Badiyadka mobile shop theft case.
Jubair(27) from Chennadka is the arrested.
During questioning in connection with Badiyadka mobile shop theft case, he revealed that he was involved in other cases as well.
Police officials revealed that he was involved in theft cases that took place in Kasaragod, Vidyanagar, Badiyadka, Bekala and Dakshina Kannada districts.
A manhunt is on to nab his two associates. One is from Karnataka and another associate is from Badiyadka, the police said.
Police have seized an iron rod and two mobile phones which were reportedly used for the theft.
On January 1, theives burgled a mobile shop belonging to Rathish in Badiyadka and stole 15 new phone sets, 15 old mobile sets, recharge coupons and Rs 500 in cash.
There are altogether 10 cases registered against him in Karnataka and Kasaragod. He is also accused of gold theft in Badiyadka, Perla, Nellikunje, Uliyathadka, Vidyanagar and Iriyanni.
