Bantwal : Due to lack of drainage facilities rain water flows through roads. Because of this roads have been damaged. How many areas are facing these problems? What action have you taken in this regard? People still suffer without driking water even though there are borewells and pumps…These questions were not raised by public but our Health minister U T Khader.



He was speaking to the officials at meeting held to inspect the developmental works here at SGSRY hall in BC Road. He also advised the officials to solve the problems of the public.
Engineers brought to the notice of minister, that due to MESCOM electric poles they are not able to solve drainage problems. So he told them to work unitedly to solve these small issues.
Panchayath Vice president Muhammad Sharif said that officials work in Pudu gram panchayat limits without informing the panchayat.
The Minister asked Police officers to install CCTVs to prevent crime and traffic problems.
When members asked about the limited number of staff in gram panchayats, he said that across the state there is scarcity of human resources. 7 lakh staff is needed but right now there are only 5 lakh 40,000 staff. So govt will solve these problems in coming months.
Taluk panchayath president Yashavanth Deraje, Sthayi samithi president Ida suresh, District panchayath member Santhosh Kumar Rai, Taluk panchayath member Padmashekar Jain, Sharif, Apram sequeira, odfficer Cyprian Miranda, Tahshildar B S Malleswamy were present in the meeting.
Gram panchayat members, representatives brought important issues to the notice of the minister.
