Mangaluru: Mangaluru’s renowned solar company INERGEIA has installed coastal Karnataka’s first solar wind hybrid system. This is a new technology and produces electricity (power) 24 hours a day. Not only does it generate more units of power per kilo watt but also overcomes some of the disadvantages of renewable energy by combining both wind and solar power generation.
This is a vertical wind turbine and requires less wind to generate the power. By using renewable energy, you can reduce pollution and create a healthier environment.
This new system has been installed at Bawa Fishmeal & Oil Co., Mukka, which is owned by the environment enthusiast Riyaz Bawa.
Currently, INERGEIA is working on different projects throughout Karnataka. The directors of the company Aravinda Kumar, Fateh Muhammed and Suraj Kumar Shetty were present at the press conference on Feb 21. Aravind said that they are looking forward to making Karnataka a clean and green energy state.
