Bantwal: The workers of Indira Canteen at BC road have shut the canteen for a week for not receiving the wages.

The contractors of Indira canteen at BC road have failed in paying the wages of workers from past 5-6 months, leading to the closure of the canteen by the workers.

The closure has turned the poor and destitute and daily wage workers struggle for getting food.

The former minister Ramanath Rai visited the canteen and assured to provide food kits to the workers.
