Mangalore: Indiana Hospital & Heart Institute (IHHI) on completion of 2 years of successful health care service has now announced the inauguration of Indiana Institute of Trauma & Emergency Medicine (IITEM) on 21st August 2014 at 9:30 am at Indiana Hospital & Heart Institute, Pumpwell Mangalore.

Dr DR Ashok, KAS, Assistant Commissioner Mangalore inaugurated the institute.
    
This Institute offers comprehensive care for the Accident and Emergency patients with a team of highly experienced internationally trained full time consultants in Emergency Medicine, Neuro surgery, Orthopaedic surgery, and in Critical Care departments. It has a full-fledged Trauma and Emergency Medicine department and ACLS ICU Ambulance for transporting sick patients with support of ICU equipments including Ventilators.
