Mangalore : India needs a strong youth force for it to emerge as a powerful, capable and developed nation, said Prof. Murali Mohan, ABVP National President.






He was speaking after inaugurating the 4-day long ABVP National Executive Meeting which commenced at the Sanghaniketan here on Monday May 26. Continuing, he said the results of the Lok Sabha elections have brought about a change in the nation’s administrative and political scenario. The people who were disillusioned with the rising corruption, scams and inefficient government, are now rejoicing after a single party emerged with a majority, headed.
Prof. Murali Manohar further said the ABVP had conducted voter awareness programmes in the colleges prior to the election s and continue its campaigns. He said the social sites too played a pivotal role in bringing about the much needed change.
Touching upon the safety aspect of female students in colleges, Murali Manohar said the ABVP executive meeting will discuss ways and measures to tackle the attempts to misguide students through Love Jihad.
Hari Borikar, National General Secretary of ABVP also spoke on the occasion.
ABVP leaders Sunil Ambelkar, Vinay Bidire, Durgesh and others were present.
The meeting will discuss various issues pertaining to education, safety of girl students, current political scenario and such other aspects.
