Mangaluru: The inauguration and blessing of the renovated St Joseph the Worker Church building, Vamanjoor was held today, December 16.

The inauguration and blessing of the church was followed by a thanksgiving mass. Bishop of the Mangalore Diocese Most Rev Dr. Peter Paul Saldanha inaugurated the renovated St Joseph the Worker Church building and celebrated the thanksgiving mass.

Following this, a felicitation programme was held at the Vamanjoor Church Sabha Bhavan after the mass. Rev Dr. Peter Paul Saldanha presided over this programme.

There was a fellowship meal which was followed by a cultural programme- ‘Comedy Fest’ by the Comedy Company, Mangaluru.
