Mangaluru: A woman was critically injured after the car she was travelling in rammed into a tree near Tiblapadav in Konaje station limits on Wednesday, January 6. Four others who were in the same car also suffered injuries.
Mumtaz (45) who was injured severely has been shifted to Deralakatte private hospital in a critical condition. Mohammad Asafwan (25) who was driving the car, Shifana Parveen (17), Shameera (35) and Ishana (13) were also taken to hospital.

The incident occurred when the group was headed to Uchila in Someshwara from Konaje to attend a function.

It has been reported that when the driver tried to overtake a car ahead of him, he lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a tree. The car was completely damaged in the mishap,

A case has been registered at Konaje police station.
