Mangaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday expressed confidence to complete his term as Chief Minister of Karnataka, dismissing suggestions of a Dalit being made the Chief Minister.

“I am the CM and I will complete my term as CM”, he told the reporters to a question on Dalit as CM, here on his arrival at Mangaluru International Airport on Friday.

To another question on Arkavathi denotification, Mr. Siddaramaiah said that he has not denotified even a single acre of land neither he met high command in Delhi to speak about this issue, he said.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister cancelled two official programs scheduled for today, following the death of former Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur. He returned to Bengaluru from the airport. CM declared a day’s mourning in the state.
