Mangaluru: In a tragic incident at Gramachavadi, under Konaje police station limits, husband Sheshappa Poojary (63) consumed pesticide and ended his life shortly after his wife, Meenakshi Poojary (59), passed away.
The couple, without children, lived with Meenakshi’s sister and her husband. Sheshappa, a driver, took this drastic step upon learning of Meenakshi’s demise due to a heart ailment, despite relatives and neighbors attempting to intervene.
The Konaje police are conducting an ongoing investigation.
