Mangalore : A house located at Kallapu near Thokkottu  in the outskirts of  city, was robbed on Sunday May 25. The theft came to light the next morning.

It is learnt that the house belonged to Mohammad Payyaz. Payyaz had gone out for a function along with his family for two days and was scheduled to return on Monday.

On May 26, Monday when the family returned they saw the front door broken and the valuables stolen.

According to the family, around 8 pounds of gold jewellery, 3 watches and their passports were also stolen from the cupboard.

A case has been registered at Ullal police station.
