Mangaluru: Senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojary said on Wednesday that Chief Minister Siddharamiah must cancel the contract made between his son Yathindra and Victoria hospital as it will the dent the image of the party in the state.

Addressing mediapersons Poojary at the district congress office said that a chief minister or his kin shouldn’t be doing any personal business or agreement with any government related departments until he is in power.

“This incident has brought the party to shame. The part workers look upon you and your as their role model. You have lost your integrity by this lab tender issue,” he said.

Commenting on Yeddiyurappa he said that people of the states are not fools to vote for him and make him chief minister again.

“Who will make you the chief minsier? The court has summoned you again regarding scams. Plesae do not dream,” he said.

Former mayor of MCC Mahabala Maarla, congress leaders TK Sudhir, Kallige Tharanatha Shetty, Arun Coelho were present.
