Mangaluru: As the India Meteorological Department (IMA) has predicted heavy rainfall, Dakshina Kannada District Deputy Commissioner S Sasikanth Senthil has declared holiday for all schools and colleges on Tuesday, July 23.

As IMA has forecast that there would be heavy rainfalls until July 25, Sasikanth declared holiday for all government, aided, private and Anganwadi centres on July 23. Meanwhile, he instructed the fishermen not to venture into the sea on Tuesday.
