Mangaluru: Kusumavathi, Soujanya’s mother, participated in a collective prayer held at the Mahalingeshwara temple in Puttur. This gathering was organized by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, and Lakshmi Venkataramana.
Taking part in the communal prayer, she expressed her perspective on the remarks made by former MLA Vasanth Bangera, suggesting that there must be a hidden agenda behind the incidents in Belthangady.
“Vasant Bangera had accompanied us to the chief minister, urging for the case to be transferred to the CBI. He possesses knowledge about the individuals connected to Soujanya’s case and those who provided assistance to the perpetrator,” she said.
“The accused have stated that if the truth is revealed, Bangera sir will be killed. When the time comes, Bangera will reveal this information; I am not pressuring for an immediate resolution. According to the law, they will say it where it needs to be said,” she added.
