Bantwal: Four persons were seriously injured after a head-on collision between a KSRTC bus and a lorry in Manihalla on Belthangady Bantwal highway on Tuesday, November 1.
Four persons including the drivers of both the bus and the lorry are said have sustained serious injuries. Six other suffered minor injuries. The bus was plying towards Dharmasthala while the lorry was going towards BC Road.
Deputy deputy superintendent of police (DySP) Raveesh CR and police jeep driver Satyaprakash had a hard time pulling out the injured as front portions of both the vehicle had damaged badly due to the impact. Public appreciated the work of the police as they did their duty despite heavy rain.
A case was registered by Bantwal traffic police.
