Mangaluru: MCC Bank held a farewell programme for retiring employee Fredrick CS D’souza and also conducted a half-yearly performance review of the bank at the administrative branch on Tuesday, October 29.
Chairman Anil Lobo presided over the programme.
The program commenced with a prayer by Director Irene Rebello and General Manager Sunil Menezes welcomed the gathering.
In his address, Menezes emphasized the importance of deposit growth, growth in advances, NPA recovery, and growth in CASA accounts. He appreciated the performance of the branches who have achieved the target and called upon the other branches to follow their example. Menezes also called upon the staff to work tirelessly in achieving the individual as well as the branch targets.
Afterward, Fredrick D’sSouza was felicitated for his selfless service in the Bank for the last 38 years and Compliance Officer Anand Nazareth read the “Maan Patr”.
Director Irene Rebello for receiving the 15th Kalakar Puraskar award from Karval Gharane and Maand Sobhan, Mangaluru. Director Marcel D’sSouza was also honored by the bank for receiving the 10th Kallachhu Prashasthi award from Kallachhu Prakashana, Mangaluru.
The staff members who achieved individual targets were honoured and staff members who celebrated their 50th birthday, as well as staff members who celebrated their birthdays in the month of October, were felicitated. The managers of Hampankatta and Kinnigoli branches were appreciated for the growth in CASA accounts.
Anil Lobo, in his presidential speech, appreciated all the staff for their customer-friendly service and their efforts towards the overall growth of the bank. He stressed upon them to continue the good work in future too. He also called upon the staff to increase the networth of the bank.
Ovin Rebello, Manager of Udupi branch, compered the programme and Raj Menezes, Deputy General Manager of the bank, proposed the vote of thanks.
Vice-Chairman Jerald Jude D’Silva, Directors Marcel M. D’souza, Anil Patrao, Andrew D’souza, David D’souza, Irene Rebello, Dr Freeda D’souza, Professional Directors Micheal D’souza and C.G. Pinto, and others were present.
