Haj pilgrims from DK administered mandatory vaccination

Mangalore : Pilgrims from Dakshina Kannada district who would be embarking on the sacred Haj tour shortly, were administered vaccination at Yenepoya Hospital in Mangalore on August 27, Tuesday. Arrangements for the same were made by the Karnataka State Haj Committee and District Wakf Advisory Council.


The pilgrims who would be leaving for a holy pilgrim tour of Mecca and Medinah were administered the mandatory vaccine for meningitis and polio drops. They were also issued the mandatory vaccination certificates apart from a checklist that would help them during their pilgrimage.

HS Usman Haji, District Wakf Advisory Council President,Yenepoya Mohammad Kunhi and others were present on the occasion.
