Kasargod: In a tragic incident a groom to-be ended life by hanging himself to a hoarding in Kasargod, merely days after his to-be bride killed herself.

Chandrashekar (37) from Deli Aramangana was found dead at Chaliyangodu on Wednesday.

He had left his house on Tuesday saying that he was going to a nearby village. When he did not return home in the evening his family tried to contact him. But, his mobile remained switched off. He was found dead the following day.

Chandrashekar was supposed to get married to a girl named Nanditha from Nagori in Mangaluru on February 13, but the bride to-be killed herself in her residence on February 8.

After the death of his fiancee, Chandrashekar was very upset and it is suspected that he may have killed himself due to the same reason.

Bekal police have registered a case.
