Mangalore :Government high school students will now have the privilege of an audio-visual class of 40 minutes a day said Health and Welfare minister U T Khader here on Sunday June 22.




The audio-visual room is developed by Mangalore Coastal Round Table 190 at the school. The facility added exposure to science and social science and it has been developed at the cost of Rs.6 lakh.
The CRT team has not only provided infrastructure facility but also audio-visual materials required for the teaching.
Speaking about the system Chairman of NRT said that the objective behind this facility is to make sure that all the children including government schools should get it.
It can give exposure to global exposure and content. Shortage of staff will be solved and they will also educate children in English.
After inauguration, UT Khader said that Rs 5 lakh each has been sanctioned to three government schools in Mangalore North Constituency under MLA fund and he requested NRT team to develop similar audio-visual rooms in those schools.
