Mangaluru: A long pending demand of citizens, the widening and concreting of the 250 meter road from Naaguri Pump House to Premagudde has finally materialized. The government has sanctioned Rs. 29 Lakhs for the same, under the Malnad Area Development Project.

The work of widening and concreting the road was inaugurated by MLA, Mangalore South recently. The dwellers of 48th ward had earlier,  during the assembly elections placed this demand before Lobo.

After inaugurating the project Lobo was elated as he was able to meet the demands raised by the people. “I was told by the people to chalk out a comprehensive solution to the road which was at its worst condition.” He said he worked in this direction relentlessly and was able to keep his promises to the residents.
