Belthangady: The government should take immediate steps to control the black fungus and the white fungus infections in the state, said Congress President DK Shivakumar.

Speaking to the media persons at Srikshetra Dharmasthala on Monday, May 24 he said, “the government has no clear information about fungus. This has caused even more fear and confusion among the public. It is still not being adequately treated in the state.”

Congress has already made a proposal to the government regarding the distribution of Covid vaccines.

” We have also spoken with the vaccine companies. Our goal is to provide vaccines to everyone,” he said.

He urged the government to immediately stop providing employment to outsiders in MRPL and take action to provide employment to the locals according to Sarojini Mahishi Report.
