Mangaluru: Officers from Mangaluru Customs seized 560 gm gold worth Rs. 29,12,000 from a passenger from Bhatkal at Mangaluru International Airport (MIA).

According to MIA officials, the accused arrived from Dubai (DWC) by Spicejet flight No. SC 060.

“The gold, packed in three oval-shaped packets in paste form mixed with solid gum was attempted to smuggle through concealment in the rectum,” informed officials.
