Mangaluru: In an unfortunate incident reported from Panambur coast in the City, a fishermen drowned in a gill net boat accident on Saturday September 11.

The deceased has been identified as Shareef. The other members namely Abdul Aziz, Imtiaz, Sinan and Firoz were rescued.

The boat has been brought ashore and a search operation has been launched to find and fish out the deceased’s body.
