Mangalore : The Executive Committee Meeting of the Dakshina Kannada District unit of the Karnataka State Government Employees Association held  recently has unanimously re-elected George Pinto as its President for the next five years. He is the Deputy Commissioner of Excise of Udupi and Mangalore.

 Dolphy Sequeira of Hoigebazar Government High School was elected Representative for the State Parishat of the Association while Radhakrishna of Government Industrial Training Centre was elected the Treasurer.

The DK unit of State Government Employees Association has over 60,000 government employees as its members.
