Mangalore:  A gas cylinder caught fire while it was being changed in a street food joint at Ullal here on Friday, September 26.

Reportedly the gas cylinder caught fire as the washer of the cylinder was missing.

The locals could not extinguish the fire. The cylinder was burning for about 30 minutes after which the fire brigade was summoned who extinguished the fire.

The food items were spoiled in the incident, fortunately no one was hurt.

The Ullal police came on the spot and took control of the situation.
